The apology
Some apologies never arrive. Others arrive badly.
Think of one you wanted. Do not type the name. We only need to know what you wanted the words to give back.
What needed naming?
What did you want “sorry” to give back?
If the words are perfect
The perfect apology arrives tonight.
No excuses. Exact recognition. They mean it.
If the words are perfect but nothing changes
Now make the words perfect but the behaviour unchanged.
They apologise beautifully. Then repeat the same pattern a month later.
If the words never come but the person changes
No apology ever comes, but the person genuinely changes.
Now take the apology away completely
